Disseminate Relevant Methods

To promote and support the establishment of similar projects to other Lions Association Districts within Australia and New Zealand.

Develop Training

To develop a training regime to have suitable persons trained in screening methods under the auspices of accredited training professionals to ensure accuracy and credibility in the screening outcomes.

Aid Research

Monetary Assistance

To arrange or provide monetary assistance for and establish scholarships and make outright donations or students, medical practitioners, scientists and other persons for the purpose of research and study or for the purpose of teaching and demonstrating their professional skill in and knowledge of methods of treatment of cancer.

Raise Funding

To raise money by all lawful means and to solicit, receive and enlist financial or other aid from any source and to conduct fund raising campaigns.

Our Values

Above all else, the Lions Cancer Institute makes a difference by relieving the incidence and burden of cancer now and for the future through our skin screening, research, education, outreach and advocacy of prevention and treatment.

We pursue excellence relentlessly and with integrity in all that we do, adhering always to the highest standard of conduct.

For those in our care and for one another.

We foster the spirit of inquiry, promoting collaboration across tradition boundaries and celebrating individual creativity.

Skin Damage

Skin damage can not be reversed: only further damage can be prevented.

Melanoma lesions

They can be any colour, Red, White, Blue, Grey or a combination of colours and most start flat.

There is no age limit
